FIRST HOUSE

The First House, also known as the eastern horizon or Adi, is the most important house in astrology. It represents a person's essence, vitality, and potential. It reflects the individual's inner fire and personality traits, including their physical appearance, face attractiveness, and even hair texture. This house also indicates a person's capacity to enjoy life's pleasures and endure its challenges. It holds wisdom from past lives and signifies the start of events, journeys, or activities in one's life.

The First House is associated with outgoing energy, taking initiative, and actively participating in activities (Udyam). It represents the physical body and overall health (Deham) and symbolizes an individual's form, identity, and mode of expression (Rupam). This house is the "knower of the field" (Kshetrjan), where all life experiences are stored and transformed into wisdom. In contrast, the Seventh House represents the field or area of experiences that the soul must face in the current incarnation.
