Hessonite (Gommed) for Rahu

Gommed is a Gem of the Garnet family. Magnets can pull Gummed, which is a very special phenomenon, as magnets otherwise pull only certain metals. Chemically it is known as Grossularite (3Ca0.Al2O3.3SiO2). Generally, it is orange, brown. Gummed is cold in nature. It is a zirconium Silicate in chemical term and its colour is just like the cow's urine.

Who should wear: 

Gomed suits persons who are in job of gains of windfall nature. Gomed should be worn by those who are suffering from childlessness due to 'sarp shaap' in the birth chart. Stomach ailments and kidney problems get also minimized. If there is any problem connected with kidney, gomed may be worn with 'daahine firang' (upratna or semiprecious stone). Compatibility:

Gomed can be worn with coral, ruby and pearl but should not be worn with blue sapphire, cat's eye and emerald. Many gems should not be worn together as "too many cooks spoil the food". We have always advised one or two gems only to be worn in appropriate finger, on suitable days and Nakshatras.

How to wear: 

It should be worn in middle finger of either hand and this should be used along with a red Coral. Gomed should be worn on Wednesday or Saturday as the case may be. If Rahu is placed in the sign of Jupiter, Mars or Sun, it should be worn in gold otherwise in silver ring.
