Shree Ramchandra Stuti

श्री रामचन्द्र स्तुतिः

नमामि भक्तवत्सलं कृपालु शील कोमलं भजामि ते पदांबुजं अकामिनां स्वधामदं ।

निकाम श्याम सुंदरं भवांबुनाथ मन्दरं प्रफुल्ल कंज लोचनं मदादि दोष मोचनं ॥1॥

प्रलंब बाहु विक्रमं प्रभोऽप्रमेय वैभवं निषंग चाप सायकं धरं त्रिलोक नायकं ।

दिनेश वंश मंडनं महेश चाप खंडनं मुनींद्र संत रंजन सुरारि वृंद भंजनं ॥2॥

मनोज वैरि वंदितं अजादि देव सेवितं विशुद्ध बोध विग्रहं समस्त दूषणापहं ।

नमामि इंदिरा पतिं सुखाकरं सतां गतिं भजे सशक्ति सानुजं शची पति प्रियानुजं ॥3॥

त्वदंघ्रि मूल ये नराः भजन्ति हीन मत्सराः पतंति नो भवार्णवे वितर्क वीचि संकुले ।

विविक्त वासिनः सदा भजंति मुक्तये मुदा निरस्य इंद्रियादिकं प्रयांति ते गतिं स्वकं ॥4॥

तमेकमद्भुतं प्रभुं निरीहमीश्वरं विभुं जगद्गुरुं च शाश्वतं तुरीयमेव केवलं ।

भजामि भाव वल्लभं कुयोगिनां सुदुर्लभं स्वभक्त कल्प पादपं समं सुसेव्यमन्वहं ॥5॥

अनूप रूप भूपतिं नतोऽहमुर्विजा पतिं प्रसीद में नमामि ते पदाब्ज भक्ति देहि मे।

पठति ये स्तवं इदं नरादरेण ते पदं व्रजति नात्र संशयं त्वदीय भक्ति संयुताः ॥6॥

इति श्रीमद्गोस्वामितुलसीदासकृता श्रीरामचन्द्रस्तुतिः सम्पूर्णा ॥

Translation:

1. I bow to the compassionate and gentle Lord Rama, who is dear to His devotees. I adore His lotus feet, which fulfill the desires of the desireless and grant them their eternal abode. He is the remover of all afflictions.

2. He possesses unparalleled strength, immeasurable glory, and wields the bow and arrow like no other. He is the Lord of the three worlds, the vanquisher of demons, the delighter of sages, and the destroyer of the multitude of demons.

3. He is worshipped by the enemy of Cupid (Manmatha) and other gods. He is adored by the primordial deities and embodies pure knowledge. He dispels all faults and is the beloved consort of Indira (Goddess Lakshmi), the bestower of happiness and the ultimate refuge.

4. Those people who, devoid of envy, worship at Your divine feet, cross the ocean of existence. They reside in seclusion, always engaged in the pursuit of liberation, and joyfully renounce their senses and other attachments.

5. I worship the incomparably wondrous Lord, the supreme Lord, the guru of the universe, eternal and beyond worldly existence. He is difficult to attain even for great yogis, and He is like a wish-fulfilling tree for His devoted disciples. I humbly seek devotion at His lotus feet.

6. I, who am insignificant, offer obeisance to the Lord of unparalleled beauty, the husband of the goddess of learning (Saraswati). Please grant me the gift of devotion at Your lotus feet. Those who recite this hymn, with sincere devotion, surely attain Your divine abode without a doubt.
