Mrigashira is ruled by Soma, the God of the Moon or the immortal nectar. This is the fifth nakshatra of the zodiac, spanning from 23°-20' in Taurus to 6°-40' in Gemini. Mrigashira is partly in Taurus and partly in Gemini.
